Lead Acid Batteries  - Go to process here

There two main types of acid batteries, the short cycle and long cycle, the first is design to provide large current in a short time and is intended to start motors such as in vehicles, the latter is designed to provide stable current supply to feed lighting equipment such as in boats.

Batteries contain up to 65% lead in plates, rods and caps, 7% in PP high quality plastic, zinc, copper and sulfuric acid. These are good reasons why acid batteries are considered hazardous thus recycling acid batteries should conform to international treaties such as the Basil agreement.

We are in a position to offer our services in the design, supply, erection and commissioning of complete plants or single machines, in addition we can advise on the acceptable practices in the collection, storage, recycling, packaging and transportation of scrap batteries.
