There two main
types of acid batteries, the short cycle and long cycle, the
first is design to provide large current in a short time and is
intended to start motors such as in vehicles, the latter is
designed to provide stable current supply to feed lighting
equipment such as in boats.
Batteries contain
up to 65% lead in plates, rods and caps, 7% in PP high
quality plastic, zinc, copper and sulfuric acid. These are good
reasons why acid batteries are considered hazardous thus
recycling acid batteries should conform to international
treaties such as the Basil agreement.
We are in a

and commissioning of complete plants or single machines, in
addition we can advise on the acceptable practices in the
collection, storage, recycling, packaging and transportation of
scrap batteries.
